97 Championship DVD

First I would just like to say that I have been a reader on these boards for about two years, just never registered. But to be honest this is probably the push I needed to make a username to finally begin posting my opinon about the Wings. However I do have a question that I feel this is wehre I can get an answer.

I own both the 98 and 2002 championship DVDs, but I can't seem to find the 1997 championship video. Either on VHS or DVD is fine, I just can't seem to find one anywhere. I tried Hockey Town Authentics, and a few other hockey stores around the Metro Detroit and Oakland and Macomb country area, but no luck. If anyone knows of a place I can find one either online or at a store it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Secondly...did you try ebay? It might be there. If not, I'd even google it and see if it pops up somewhere else. Otherwise someone here at LGW might have it and be willing to pass it on to you. Good luck!

I have all the championship videos, but the best bargain I got was getting the Detroit Red Wings DVD set that had the best 5 games of all time along with all the championship DVDs with them. The ones I had from 97 and 98 were on VHS and I was wanting a DVD of those. This package gave me that. At $45, its worth every penny.

ive seen the 97 championship on ebay plenty of times.i just bought "a celebration of champions on dvd for 32 bucks brand new (includes shipping)off ebay.this my freind is the dvd you want.it has all the cup years and some.

It's not a DVD, but iTunes has the entire game 4 of the 97 cup finals for $1.99

I actually got a 4 Double-sided DVD set from Best Buy for about $50.

97, 98, 02, plus the top 5 games in recent memory.

this was the DVD set that i was going to recommend.

i found this DVD at walmart for $35 i believe..

either way, this DVD set is AMAZING!

this is so much stuff on it, including the 97 championship game in full, plus tons of red wings history,

and just as good, "fight night" in hockeytown

as nightfall said, it is undoubtedly worth every cent.
