Izzy24 44 Report post Posted November 15, 2007 Oh MY GOD oh my god oh my god I am just glad everyone is OK....whew...I mean how close a call was that??? we almost lost the whole team in one fell swoop...albeit a slow motion turning stuck in the mud kinda swoop but still OH the humanity!! Woe is me at such a near calamity...I can hardly keep myself composed and I was'nt even there I am so thankful everyone is ok... I mean they were probably going like 15-20 miles an hour and all of a sudden came to a slow halt in the mud...imagine their horror the sheer terror that must have been experienced on that plane...I bet there was some screaming and perhaps the shedding of even a few tears from these hardened men...I wonder if in the few minutes they thought they had left in this world as the plane was slowly stopping and it became apparent it would not move again without some assistance, if any of the players confessed deep long hidden man-crushes on their teammates? brutus I'm glad someone realizes the enormity of (or lack thereof) this situation. Make sure not to get any on your keyboard. You might short it out.
StaticWithABeat 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2007 Not surprising...pilot's probably still used to overcompensating for Robert Lang's fat ass pulling the plane to the side his seat was on.

PenaltyShot 96 521 Report post Posted November 15, 2007 Well between the vivid desciptions of Pavel's face in the window screaming and I bet there was some screaming and perhaps the shedding of even a few tears from these hardened men...I wonder if in the few minutes they thought they had left in this world as the plane was slowly stopping and it became apparent it would not move again without some assistance, if any of the players confessed deep long hidden man-crushes on their teammates? I feel as if I was at the scene of the Red Wings Runway Incident of 2007, and it reminds me of that time when my car shifter was stuck for like 20 seconds. I had to coast through the parking lot at a speed approximately equal to a motorized scooter as I struggled to put it back in Drive....Yes, I know their pain, and it is great

PenaltyShot 96 521 Report post Posted November 15, 2007 The brief update: Wings' plane stuck in St. Louis mud Apparently, they practiced in St. Louis on Wednesday, instead of getting the day off Ouch, Babs, that's the real suffering in the whole ordeal
