esteef 2,679 Report post Posted November 21, 2007 If anyone fights for the Blues it'll probably be DJ King, and that kid is no joke. If him and Downey square off, look out!!! Also, I wouldn't mind seeing Drake rip that face shield off and go after his former teammate Tkachuk, but that probably won't happen either.
Duck Guy 86 Report post Posted November 21, 2007 (edited) Wings should win this one 5-2 Wings... Wings: Holms x2, Zetter, and Cleary x2 Blues: Paul "the rat" Kariya , and Boyes Edited November 21, 2007 by Duck Guy
VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted November 21, 2007 One thing is for sure, it's going to be a great game. Two of my favorite goalies going at it, great players on both sides, and the fact that EVERY game against the Blues is great. Here's hoping for the Wings to get back on track with a vengeance. dpublea082 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2007 I have a bad feeling someone is getting injured tonight, and since we got pancaked last week by Mayers and Jackman (boy do I hope they trade him away since his contract is up.... we could use him here) I'm thinking it won't be a Blues player. Vincanni 1 Report post Posted November 21, 2007 I foresee a difficult victory for us, probably going to be one of those games we seem in control from the start but the Blues creep back in and make it a close 1 goal victory for us. Manny's going to have a solid game as will Chris and they'll be the stand outs in a 2-1 W for Ozzie.
Wings_Dynasty 267 Report post Posted November 21, 2007 (edited) Welcome back aflac. I had a feeling you were channeling Nugent somewhere. Wings 4 (Homer, Dats, Kronwall, Kopecky) Blues 1 (Princess) Edited November 21, 2007 by Wings_Dynasty
Cajanek_Spielmacher 47 Report post Posted November 21, 2007 This is going to be a good game tonight. Two former teammates that have played for both sides in goal, both wanting to prove something to the other side. A team that was redwing hot to start the season having trouble with the teams in their division and in a bit of a slump. A team that did not come out of the lockout with the drive and direction that this ownership group and players have shown the last 11 months. A very good mix of young stars and up and coming potential standouts that both teams have here and down on the farms. I look forward to the Central being a top to bottom competitive division and a return to the Norris Division days of hate and somewhat even rivalry's. This being said and the fact that I am posting in enemy territory I will say Blues win 4-3 The Blues goals will be by Perron, Boyes, Tkachuk and E. Johnson The Wings scoring will be done by Hudler, Homostrom and Zetterberg Here is to a rousing good affair and LET'S GO BLUES
PenaltyShot 96 521 Report post Posted November 21, 2007 If I were a Blues fan, I would be stoked to see a Jackman-Backman D-man paring But seriously, since when is Downey scratched? Gameday decision? This means the Pain Train will have to step it up...and if he does, I foresee a victory

PenaltyShot 96 521 Report post Posted November 22, 2007 (edited) Watching the pregame show (Ryan Field not John Keating) and witnessed Cheli giving an encouraging speech to two youth hockey teams: Cheli: "I'll give a coke to the kid who can tell me what game I scored a goal in." Kids: "...(mumbled random answers)" Cheli: "What team did I score against?" Kids: "Chicago Black Hawks!" Cheli: "Ehh wrong, Edmonton Oilers everybody loses!" Oh Cheli Doing your part Edited November 22, 2007 by PenaltyShot
