OsGOD 3 Report post Posted December 11, 2007 (edited) Interesting news! http://www.plymouthwhalers.com/releases/ve...ange_121107.htm Could not stand Vellucci so Stefan is a welcomed addition. Edited December 11, 2007 by OsGOD
OsGOD 3 Report post Posted January 2, 2008 (edited) OH and the Whalers suck now... the only thing changed up is the coach... so Stefan can be gone with his bad self... I want my Whalers back! What you read in my first post... premature excitment... it went all downhill from there. On a side note Whalers Goalie Jeremy Smith (and Brownstown Native) is leading team USA on a killing spree in Czech.... GO USA! OsGOD 3 Report post Posted January 2, 2008 There are fun to watch (up until stefan took over...) but the games all around are fun.. hard hitting, fights and lots of goals. I believe i have missed only 3 home games this season. I have connections with the team so i get tickets but $10 for front row seats behind the net... well worth it. Not to mention its 10mins from my house and parking is only $4 Can't wait to get Smith back after USA takes home the WJC's
wingsfan75 2 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 (edited) I'm so glad that the OHL moved here 6 seasons ago. Saginaw used to be a huge hockey hub back in the 70's and 80's then the UHL took over and it all fell apart. I get tix from work every once in a while and the parking is free if you know where to park. I've been down to a few Whalers vs. Spirit games in Plymouth. It's a lot of fun. What did you think of the arena in Saginaw OsGOD? I was greatly involved in the whole renovation of the complex. Edited January 3, 2008 by wingsfan75

What did you think of the arena in Saginaw OsGOD? I was greatly involved in the whole renovation of the complex. I watched it being built, but i have never been to a game there. I had to work until 4:30pm last saturday and i Missed the team bus and i didn't feel like driving there (luckily for the 6-3 arse whooping, i didn't miss much ) The pictures that i have seen from that game make me think its pretty impressive in there. I think Feb 15th the Whalers play there, i might go to that one, its a friday night! Heck i just looked, maybe i will go this coming wednesday to see them play the whalers Hey when do the spirit play windsor again this season *crosses fingers* they they still do play them in saginaw!!! I want to see our former goalie Neuvirth in action and the whalers don't play them at home again.
puckbags 863 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 Can't wait to get Smith back after USA takes home the WJC's You know what they say "to be the best, you have to beat the best"!! Can't wait for the game tommorow, hopefully it's as good as it's been hyped, it's strange to see Canada as the underdog but thats the way it should be, the US has been the best team in the tourney so far, GO CANADA GO!!
