Sounded like a nice win for the fellas. Sounded like Oz made some great saves to keep the game tied, I'll have to watch video of it to see how great of a game it was though. Another 2 points, and time to beat the snot out of the Boos again. Best thing will be no Jackman taking cheapshots.

Completely satisfied right now.

Datsyuk gets a 3 point night and is almost up to 50 points on the season.

Lidstrom has 2 assists and is +3. The man is a freak.

Filppula just gets an assist on the EN goal and extends his point streak to 6 games.

Osgood dominates again and leads Detroit to another victory!

:rockstar:

This outing should put Osgood in the lead for GAA and now SV% within a day or so. Not a huge deal, but considering it's getting closer and closer to the All Star game, it'll help his cause if he's got the league lead in GAA, SV%, a couple shut outs and the best record in the league for all intents and purposes. Tough to ignore all that...

Just got back from the GLI, (which Michigan won 1-0 in double over time) sounds like I missed a good game. Good to hear you guys praise Kronwall, makes me feel good, also good to hear that Datsyuk played with magic again.

I'm going to watch recap now, good night everyone!

I really was not pleased with how much pressure and shots on goal we gave up in the 2nd and 3rd. I was really displeased with the officiating. There were many calls that should have been made (on both sides) which were not.

I have to say that I really felt sorry for Wayne when Red Wings got the go ahead goal. The look on his face made me feel sad :( But reading his lips was fun ;)

But, I'm glad for the win. Go Red Wings!

Man, that 3rd goal was just awesome. The way pavel can stop on a dime like that still maintaining perfect controll of the puck with his head up is just insane. The snow from that stop goes higher than his head, looks really cool in slow motion. Does anybody have a video?

On another note, we got really lucky last night with phoenix unable to finish on A LOT of quality scoring chances, glad to see Ozzy bailing us out on many of them too.

I'm sure Wayne will get over it when he gets home and realizes that he's Wayne Gretzky. It's hard to feel sorry for him. The officiating was pathetic, though, but that's the "new NHL" as they like to call it.

Both Phoenix goals happened with Lilja on the ice, and in both cases, he was largely responsible for the problems the Wings had in their own end leading to the goals. I liked when he got in Doan's face after the scrum around Osgood, even though he took a penalty in the process. But his play the past couple of weeks is a serious concern. He may not be the worst player on the team, but the other weak links manage to hide themselves and avoid making catastrophic mistakes. Lilja doesn't seem to be able to do that. When he makes a mistake it winds up in the Detroit net.

got to watch the end of the 2nd period and the 3rd. Dats is the man, I knew signing him long term was a good deal the day it happened, and will always stand by that decision

Still off topic after another win, but for anybody who may care the song I was looking for is Crowd Chant by none other than Joe Satriani. I found out at, of all places, a Coyotes forum site
