The reason the Canes top have more points is because they play an offense first style. The NYR play more of a defensive style. If you don't believe me, look up and interview with Jagr about the coaching style and why he is so frustrated in NY. Stats don't tell the entire story. It's true that they play a more conservative style than the Canes, but that still doesn't take away from the fact that their forwards have underachieved. They didn't sign those guys in the offseason to win the Selke trophy, they signed them to score points, which they haven't done. As for Jagr being frustrated, well what else is new. The Rangers have done this before in the past, when they loaded up their team with talent, and yet got nothing out of it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
