Not to get side-tracked here, but i just keep noticing it more and more, especially after this game...but please tell me someone agrees with me, but I do not like Sammy one bit. I know this thread belongs on the 'Samuelsson does not fit in thread' but whatever it fits here to since i confirmed the following after tonight's game:

1.) He doesn't pass

2.) Correction, he passes once every game, and it's untimely, forced and rarely gets to the receiving end.

3.) His shooting is untimely. ( we are on a power play and rather then make the safe play and keep the puck moving to the point, he decides to try to shoot the puck THROUGH turco, therefore causing a needless faceoff).

4.) He still doesn't pass.

5.) He will never pass.

But seriously, I feel bad for Hudler, because he knows the game so well, shoots, but looks to pass more almost too much, and then when he looks for it in return from Sammy, it's either a terrible pass or he doesn't pass at all and instead shoots it into the goalies chest (hard,) but in the goalies chest, or misses the net.

I just am not pleased with him at all, and needs to be dealt.

It took me a while to get on board, but I'm on the Sammy hate train.

The only thing that makes it bearable is that he only makes 1.2 million a season. But he's there to pot some goals, and has been a major disappointment this season. He has 6 goals, at least one of which was an empty netter.

I think he does pass, but he has no good instincts about it. I don't know how many times I've seen him do a nice job protecting the puck in the offensive zone, he looks around to make a play, gets flustered, and ends up dumping it back to the blueline for the defenseman to deal with.

Great game by the tough squad and Ozzie.

Too bad he didn't got the shutout, but oh well... we'll live !

Ya i hate the guy, and ive never liked him even if its like a 4 on 1 and he is able to pass it to someone else so they can score he will just shoot it straight at the goalies chest, and foreal what is that going to accomplish, he is just terrible, i never liked him and never will no matter what he does.

I was at the the game. Out of the 8 times I've been to The Joe, it was probably the best time I had.

The 3rd period was a lot of fun. The crowd was really into it. We were all singing, doing the "TUR-CO.... TUR-CO.... TUR-CO" chant, along with "Ozzie, Ozzie, Ozzie", and fans in the Upper Bowl got the waive going.

They also did this thing on the JumboTron where they showed two Stars fans in their jerseys. Obviously we all started boooing, then quickly they switched to some Wings fans in their gear and we all cheered. It went back and forth about 5 times.

It almost felt like a Tiger Stadium crowd. I wonder if the loss of some of the long time season ticket holders has brought out more of the hard core roudy fans. I've enjoyed everytime I've been to a Wings game, but last night had a different feel to it.
