It's my opinion and my observation that Dom's had some rotten luck and been dealt bad games this season and he's taken the brunt of the criticism for several losses that belong to the team. But OK, if you think it's ridiculous.

OK, back to the game.

That's very different than what you said initially.

Has Dom gotten a few bad games where the team didn't show up in front of him: absolutely (but so has Ozzie). Has Dom not played up to his calibre in more than his normal amount of games this season: absolutely.

Kinda OT, but Ozzie has 3 assists this season. Or so it says on yahoo's stat page for the team. Gotta get Dom an assist or a few, then everyone on the team will have at least one point this season.

But does that change the fact that Osgood's played as well as he has? The team hasn't shown up on nights with him in net as well. It goes both ways. Even if Hasek hadn't had some of those ugly games (no matter whether or not anyone thinks he was a part of the problem or just a bystander...) Osgood's still done his thing. The record doesn't lie. The stats don't lie. The general impression of his play by fans, writers, coaches, teammates, etc. alike don't lie. That's what I'm getting at. I don't know about others, but I've put Hasek's November out of my mind as I believe he's improved and steadied out quite a bit. But Osgood's play still raises a huge question mark heading into the playoffs.

I have more than one opinion, Mac. Which one were you referring to?:lol:

Dom was injured and played the first few weeks out of kilter because of it. He got a bad start , some bad luck, and now is slowly gaining ground. Meanwhile some Red Wings fans are ready to write him off the first week of January. Sad. But as you say, that's the NHL, I guess.

When the Wings don't show up in front of Ozzie one time, I will have more faith in the theory that **** happens.

Turco? Still there???

they miss Zubov. He's the quiet leader and glue out there. He's supposed to be back on Saturday, so I do hope everyone shows up again. I paid a lot for my 10th row center ice ticket.

No joke...games like tonight's get boring. Jeez, another goal...I was just typing this isn't as bad as some of those "street hockey" games we've played the last month and a half or so, but eh, maybe it is...one sided games just bore me. I love winning but I love close games!
