But OK, if you think it's ridiculous. OK, back to the game. That's very different than what you said initially. Has Dom gotten a few bad games where the team didn't show up in front of him: absolutely (but so has Ozzie). But OK, if you think it's ridiculous. OK, back to the game. But does that change the fact that Osgood's played as well as he has? The team hasn't shown up on nights with him in net as well. It goes both ways. Even if Hasek hadn't had some of those ugly games (no matter whether or not anyone thinks he was a part of the problem or just a bystander...) Osgood's still done his thing. The record doesn't lie. The stats don't lie. The general impression of his play by fans, writers, coaches, teammates, etc. alike don't lie. That's what I'm getting at. I don't know about others, but I've put Hasek's November out of my mind as I believe he's improved and steadied out quite a bit. Dom was injured and played the first few weeks out of kilter because of it. He got a bad start , some bad luck, and now is slowly gaining ground. Meanwhile some Red Wings fans are ready to write him off the first week of January. Sad. But as you say, that's the NHL, I guess. I paid a lot for my 10th row center ice ticket. No joke...games like tonight's get boring. Jeez, another goal...I was just typing this isn't as bad as some of those "street hockey" games we've played the last month and a half or so, but eh, maybe it is...one sided games just bore me.
