puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted January 20, 2008 how come San Jose gets to stand on top of Hasek and it's OK? Just wondering. The Wings need to keep playing hard, even with this lead, SJ won't quit trying, if I know them.

Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted January 20, 2008 Seriously, how good is Cleary? We might have stuffed up by trading Matthias, but Cleary was a high pick rejected by Chicago and many other teams and now look at him! Way to go Danny!

We might have stuffed up by trading Matthias, but Cleary was a high pick rejected by Chicago and many other teams and now look at him! Way to go Danny! Simply put...he's home. This is where he gets to be the player he was always meant to be. There's something that happens when a player dons the Winged Wheel (except for Uwe Krupp, of course). We might have stuffed up by trading Matthias, but Cleary was a high pick rejected by Chicago and many other teams and now look at him! Way to go Danny! Danny is freaking amazing. Seriously. My Dad and I always talk about what a great work ethic he has and how he never gives up on a play. He gives it his all constantly and it most definitely shows. edicius 3,269 Report post Posted January 20, 2008 There you go Edi, Toast of Hockeytown. Sounds like it's right up your alley Believe me, if it wasn't 600+ miles away, I'd be all up in that. San Jose feed has this game summed up pretty well: The Wings are executing very well; the Sharks aren't executing at all.

tazzer82 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2008 Why does anyone refuse to clear the crease? JR didn't bulldoze Dom by any means, but just once someone in a Wings jersey, clear the freaking crease out.

There's something that happens when a player dons the Winged Wheel (except for Uwe Krupp, of course). Nicely put. It'll be interesting to see what his demands are come signing time. I wouldn't think too much, he'll obviously get what he deserves but nothing exuberant. Danny is freaking amazing. Seriously. My Dad and I always talk about what a great work ethic he has and how he never gives up on a play. He gives it his all constantly and it most definitely shows. Agree 100%. He's quickly becoming one of my favourite players.
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted January 20, 2008 Phenomenal persistance tonight. The Wings had plenty of opportunities to fold, and just punched right back instead.

JR didn't bulldoze Dom by any means, but just once someone in a Wings jersey, clear the freaking crease out. it's only caused one goal so far tonight against the Wings, but I've noticed that no one's been around tonight when needed a couple of times. Oh, man, they had to find something else to call. When is that last time they've called that on Dom? I wasn't looking... did he?
