Wings weren't dominant, but they played everyone, were solid defensively, rested Cheli, and hopefully left some in the tank for a tougher opponent tomorrow night. Stuart gets a star for what? sergei_is_still_a_wing 1 Report post Posted January 23, 2008 JUST GOT BACK FROM THE GAME!!!! i was so ridiculous when sammy scored on the semi-breakaway i was jumping up and down and hugging my buddy, causing him to spill a good 1/3 of his beer on the kings fan in front of us! we blamed it on the guy behind us!!! amazing game. and im walking out of the game and these kids yell "yeah way to go you beat the worst team in the league." to which i replied "good one. way to go on being a fan of the worst team in the league. too bad wayne couldn't carry your organization after he left." one kings fan did make a valid point: "i hate it when the wings come to town. it sucks because i can't say, hey you guys suck. because you've been the best team in the league for years..." It wasn't that the Kings played badly - I actually thought they put on a pretty good effort - we just played better, Osgood especially.
