Flipped through "the Magazine" today since it was the fan issue. In the hockey portion (Yzerman and the fan story BTW) it mentions that of fans polled 70% didn't know who Crosby or AO are... marketing of golden boys at it's finest if you ask me.

I'm perfectly fine with the way Engblom acted, he did have a perfectly valid point. My problem is with the other guy wtf was his deal? He looked like he just looked completely stunned at Engblom like he just farted in church, and had nothing to add besides "you're scaring the hell me". WTF man?

What is "the Magazine"? Please don't say ESPN. True that the NHL marketing is terrible but you have to remember what magazine you are talking about. On average, it has one article. It is nothing but blurbs and pics. I think it is for people who think SI is too intellectual for them with all the words.

SI has actually had 2 pretty good hockey articles in the past month. One on Lidstrom and the other on Joe Juneau.
