Without Hossa or Jokinen or someone huge (there aren't many left), the Wings just sort of make a lateral move. I think he would be on the expensive side but worth it as his cap number is great and he does a bit of it all. Do you think Quincey, a 2nd, and Igor Grigs be enough? The Wings have become one of the most consistantly dominant teams in the NHL since the '90's due to Devallano and Holland...I trust him through hell and high water, even when I don't agree with him. If we sign him to a longer contract I would be happy to welcome him to the team. He is a good player, just most likely not a guy we NEED, just would like.
