sixer 37 Report post Posted February 21, 2008 Really looking forward to this weekend and should be very interesting to see how the team responds with Lidstrom gone for an extended time, hasn't ever really happened before. Will be nice to watch some of the young guys in action. Also, I'm wondering about the starting goalies. Ozzie I'm assuming against the flames but what about Saturday night. I don't think Ozzie has played back to back all year. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. If so, looks like Howard I'm assuming would start Saturday against the Canucks, primetime hockey night in Canada on CBC, as well as a Wing Defense in front of him probably tired from the night before against the Flames. Should be interesting! Who knows, maybe we'll have a new member to welcome..... Maybe Sundin!

I am going to go out on a limb and say that if, God forbid, the Red Wings lose to Calgary, you will be here blaming world hunger on Chris Osgood. Don't be surprised when they do, considering Andreas Lilja is now our number one guy. How frickin' scary is that? Grittzkey 1 Report post Posted February 21, 2008 I'am actually very glad that Lids isnt playing Fri/Sat Because Calgary is a physical squad, that are trying to stay in the PO mix, i think they are like #8right now? and Vancouver has Burrows who is a complete dick wad, and i can see him runninig alot of our star players.. Very syked for these 2 games though, Should be physical and fun.

T.Low 1,011 Report post Posted February 21, 2008 Awe $h1t, I forgot about the game on HNIC and scheduled my buddy and his hoist to help me put my 5" lift kit in my all wheel drive Astro van. Gonna be a long day, but well worth it. Oh well, have to tape the game. (Gonna look like this!)

Sergeiwasmyfav 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2008 Anyone else think HNIC is incredibly biased against many American teams, but especially Detroit? I really think they have an inferiority complex or something. I enjoy watching HNIC, but not if the Wings are playing. They take too much pleasure in anything going wrong for the Wings. And to counter any points others may make, I do not think Ken and Mickey show bias against Canadian teams when we play them; not at all. And I don't think VS shows bias against Canadian teams on the few occasions they may show a game with them in it. So no, in my opinion I don't think it goes both ways.
