Hits are 11 to 4 in favor of the Flames, but it's hard to hit back when you're being slammed into the boards without a helmet and getting your teeth knocked out. Poor Wings. OK. Nearly every night is a stunning display of "turn the other way-ery" by the refs when it comes to calls against anyone who plays the Wings. Meanwhile, amazingly, touch fouls, borderline calls and phantom goalie interference calls pop up more often than not against the Wings. Frankly, it's sickening and I'm get fed up with it. Sort of a good luck charm when we are down, to predict the action in the 4rd. You... had to be there, maybe. I put my flames voodoo doll in the microwave. Think it will work?? Sometimes this hockey is too ridiculous to watch. The refs are biased and the Flames are playing really dirty. That double hit from Neidermayer and Pronger on Holmstrom last year. Defense: A- : Jesus, what the hell else can be thrown at them? Make them play without sticks? 1 flukey goal is awesome under the circumstances. Big ups to Meech and Ericsson. Goal: A : What else do you want from a "back-up?" And BTW, there will of course be no suspensions or fines leveled against Phanny, becuase he is the Canadian Lidstrom and the refs can't penalize the great Phaneuf, nor can the NHL fine or suspend his innovative style of play. To think, just 5 years ago if you were to makes plays like the ones against Kopy you would be suspended or fined.
