How does he go from not being able to come back at all this season to him signing with the Avs outta nowhere and playing a week later? Hmm..

He played close to 20 minutes last night......Avs still didn't sell the game out though.

Ya but his line with Sakic and Hejduk, produced quite a few chances and he made some great passes to lead to those chances...but hey Luongo was there to answer the call on all of them. Peter was back to his usual physical play already which surprised me a bit.

Yeah weird - NHL had it listed a Vs also but must have been mistake - I watch all the Avs games anyways in market.

Floppa was OK - had a few nice moves, played 19:50, no points. Oh my the fans! The Pepsi Center has been dead save for the Wings games (and that is more of us making noise than them) so from a hockey perspective it was very nice to see. His feet are toast so who knows how long this lasts....

They will make the playoffs because their competition is nashville and vancouver. They've been playing better lately but I don't see them doing much in the playoffs - you NEVER know once you get in though, and that's what Avs fans are hoping.

As for the Nucks, how the hell did this team smoke us a number of days ago?? Sure we have irreplaceable injuries - but they looked bad....

I've never thought the Canucks were that good in the first place, cause if you take away Luongo, they wouldn't even be competing for a playoff spot. But thats just my opinion.
