They are the most annoying, classless fans that I have ever seen. Damn rednecks irritate the hell out of me. Why oh why did the NHL stop them from being sold to the guy who would have delieverd the team from such squaller. Other things I know. Franzen is a top six foward. I am amazing at fantasy hockey, and can play a homer style because our boys are the best ever. whistles are annoying, and I would have made that jerk swallow it. Hasek is one of the weirdest and craziest goalies i can remember. hes what, 43? and ready to drop the gloves as a goalie. well i guess that would make up for the time it was about to be detroit vs. colorado goalie fight part 3 and he.... whooops!!1 I know Dom is hilarious when he talks his broken english. It goes something like... "Oh well you know I play 1 game maybe 2 you know and I, I, I don't know, I, I, I don't know I just try to be better each game you know and I prepare to win the games you know and I, I, I just do my best you know 1 time maybe 2 you know..." But he seems to be a guy who can dish out the punishment but when he has to take it, he seems to snap and take dumb penalties. Reminds me of the St. Louis Blues players in those playoff series' vs the Wings. Easy to rattle. I still want to see someone rip Tootoo's head off but I'm beginning to believe it will never happen. A few observations, Hasek played great, and the defense was stellar aside from a few bad lapses in the third (Lebda had some BAD turnovers). Franzen played a great all around game, and that goal just made my night. I really don't understand Trotz's move to pull Ellis in the 2nd. The first goal was pretty bad, but he had little chance on the second goal. I thought he actually did pretty good until that point. I was real impressed with Derek Meech, he's got some great speed and he plays physical. And Maltby just got screwed on that empty net. Hate the Preds. I love RRP2 as a goal song (and I'm glad the Wings started playing it this year), but the Predators fans completely ruin it with that "You suck!" chant at the end. It's so lame. The funniest part of the game was when the game was tied at 1 and the Wings were controlling play the guy in between the benches says "well the Preds really are starting to get fired up now, Arnie just raised his voice." I don't live here either, but I have family here and have been to 9 games and he is right on the money about the fans. I wouldn't go that far, yet anyways. Franzen still needs to do that on an actual consistant basis. If only he did... could you imagine how good a player Franzen could be? Packer487 3 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 Sounds like a good time was had by all tonight! I'm sorry I missed this one. Nothing like Dom going buck on someone and jawing with the other goalie. He's off his rocker and I love him for it. Whatever they started feeding to the Mule, they need to keep it up. It's amazing how sometimes the light bulb just goes on...Franzen, Kronwall, (Billy Sauer)...they all seem to have gotten it this year. Now if we can just get healthy and stay healthy. VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 I don't think Sammy would get more ice time than Franzen. It's not an accident he's getting the chances he is, and Babcock is counting on him. Remember at the very beginning of the season, Frazen was getting top minutes on the top line, too. The only reason he hasn't been there consistently was because of injuries (mainly, his own).
