The predictions aren't played on the ice. They mean very little in the grand scheme of things. And people have said the same stuff about Detroit more/less for a while now. And you know what? People said the same things about the teams when they DIDN'T win it all in 97, 98, or 2002. This shouldn't be a shock to people. I agree. And I would bet money that if we were to lose, not a single forumite who is so offended by Pierre's prediction would come back here and say that they're the dumb s*** and Pierre was right. Hopefully it doesn't come to that but I just find it funny how offended people can get by this stuff. The fact that this is the youngest Wings team in years does not necessarily equate to his argument being false. His claim that we are too old is in comparison to other teams we could face this year. Lets claim an NHL superstar fakes drawing a penalty, and then....whoops....I didn't look at all the video angles....sorry Sid, I just slammed you character on the National Game of the Week for no reason; sorry about that. Pierre is a feminine hygine product (I won't elaborate, I don't want to get vulgar, per the request of the webmaster). I like Darren Pang O.K., he was pretty good in his ESPN days. Can we please trade Pierre in for him? Milbury is also a feminine hygine product. Can we trade him in for somebody who didn't suck at life as a G.M.? Can't NBC steal somebody from CBC or something? Or maybe BeeRYCE does... Our average age is 31, while Carolina is second highest with 29.5. BUT... without Hasek and Chelios, our average age would be pretty younger. Considering it is on national TV (something that seems rare for the NHL), they should know their facts. Even the guy that is supporting the Red Wings is out of the loop. This happened Sunday, the Wings reached 109 pts Friday night, not 107. Almost 48 hours later and these guys still are not up to date. Damn shame. Go Wings!! Because not everybody kisses the Red Wings butts like most do in here? Again, it is a prediction and has no bearing on the actual games. There is no point in getting worked up over things like this.
