4/2 GDT: Blackhawks 6, Red Wings 2

I srsly laugh every time two things happen on this board.

1) When 9 out 0f 10 people predict the wings to win. Yeah, it's great to visualize your home team winning and cheer for them, but the Wings aren't going to win every single game.

2) When the wings take a bad loss and half the people on here act like it's the end of the world and start demanding star players be fired, or Mike Babcock (the coach who has led the team to 3 50+ win seasons) be fired. Seriously guys????? Grow up. It's one game...stop acting like you're 10.

ya i have been busy with school but not anymore . Hopefully 2morow is a better game since i will be home watching it

Exactly, they didnt show up, they lost, its done we're better for it.

They are still first in the league i think i can let this one go lol. Other teams would kill to be in our position right now. Another day another game.

2) There's been almost nobody clamoring for heads to roll, so I hope that's not directed at the board as a whole.

This question really has no importance once the playoffs come, but what does Babs continuously play Hartigan instead of Meech and sometimes, even Downey and DMac? He constantly takes penalties (as evidenced by today's game) and IMO, has no upside at all.

I want to go on record for saying this: I don't care what team you root for. At all. As long as you're not stupid about it. And today, I would like to say that the Red Wing fans on this board certainly outclassed Hawks fans today. One poster from here goes to the officials and is told to get out. I post here and I am relatively welcomed. Good job to all of you.

Hasek's back in tomorrow, hopefully the team washed off the suck tonight in the showers and is ready to move on. It's vital that Dom is able to be solid these last two games and be ready for Game 1. I hope the team recognizes this as well, I'm sure they do.

Hopefully tonight's game can show guys like Hudler that they need to step it up when push comes to shove. The big boys can't be relied upon every night to bail out the offense.

Tomorrow should be a game where the Wings tighten things down, focus on defensive coverage and get their secondary scoring in gear.

I, and I think along with every Wings fan, has been been waiting for Hudler all season long to pick it up, but it's not happening. He's been a real disappointment this season.

At this point, I hope Downey is in during the playoffs, and Hudler is out. If Hudler isn't going to score goals (going on 10+ games again since he's last scored) he's completely useless to have in the lineup. Might as well insert some grit, especially since we'll be more than likely playing teams like Nashville or Vancouver, both of whom are filled with dirty players.

Oh well. On to the next one.
