Cern 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 Anyone else watching justin.tv and seein the "nucks fans whine bout Luongo's just throwing the game so that he can get home to see his new baby girl? f***in asswipes. I learned to avoid any and all justin.tv streams, or if it's the only option to cover up the chat box with another window. The xenophobia/racism/french-canadian hate/general asinine assholery in those things blows my mind.

Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 So, what's the most likely result here: a.) Canucks let in a third and possibly a fourth goal, going down in sublime fashion b.) Canucks score a late goal, cutting the deficit to one goal and leading to a furious finish the comes up short.

Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 Just what I was thinking. I wanted the Oilers to win this game, but as a hockey fan I was kinda sorta secretly hoping for a comeback from Vancouver just to make the game more exciting. That feeling is gone now. Absolutely classless thing to say. That's like saying Giguere shouldn't have skipped the first part of last years playoffs to be with his newborn son born with a deformity, cause he doesn't pay his salary. Whoever said that, go fu** yourself and die.

aflac9262 211 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 (edited) How sad. "Luongo is a freakin loser. He wants to miss the playoffs to be with his daughter" from the Canucks message board. Family comes before anything anyhow. Pshh... Geez, another Canucks power play How many is that now? Edited April 4, 2008 by aflac9262

RockyMountainWingGal 108 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 Not sure what you'll are cheering about. This team is so bad it might be a GOOD thing to meet them in the first round of the playoffs. Instead we'll face tougher competition from Nash or Calgary...
Cern 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 Admittedly, I'm torn. I'd love to see more Canadian teams get themselves into the playoffs, but I'd much rather have Nashville as a first-round contender than Vancouver.
