I don't know about you guys, but I loved going to Joe Vision during the playoffs a few years back...

Does anyone know if they still do it or who we need to bug the hell out of to get it back?

I wish they would bring it back but I bet they wont just because of what they probably rake in at Hockeytown Cafe and it is probably much easier for them to run that than opening up the Joe. I loved goin to the Joe and watchin games late back in 02. I was there when Lidstrom turned the Vancouver series with that long shot. Ahhh good times.

Just a thought, but has the NHL changed so that if a network has exclusive rights, a business cannot make money by charing money to watch the game? i.e. Versus has the coverage now and they have that stupid permission about retransmission, selling, bla bla bla. I know when Joe Vision was on it was the ESPN feed. Does Versus not allow it? or NBC?

I think you hit the nail on the head, and this way they can have other things at the Joe to make even more money.

The Preds-Red Wings game will be shown this Friday night on Nashville's largest indoor screen -- the Megatron -- at the Sommet Center. Doors open at 6pm, televised game starts at 6:30pm

Then lets leave them all disappointed tonight!

Let's go Red Wings!

I was there for that too. Winning sure made the drive back to Saginaw after that a lot easier to take.

Oh ya that was a long night. Back then I was younger and wasn't in the real world yet so i had to be at the pool Life guarding and teaching little kids to swim at 8 the next morning. that was a hard morning.
