SetecX 139 Report post Posted April 17, 2008 I wish they would bring it back but I bet they wont just because of what they probably rake in at Hockeytown Cafe and it is probably much easier for them to run that than opening up the Joe. I loved goin to the Joe and watchin games late back in 02. I was there when Lidstrom turned the Vancouver series with that long shot. Ahhh good times. McCartyFanForLife 17 Report post Posted April 17, 2008 Just a thought, but has the NHL changed so that if a network has exclusive rights, a business cannot make money by charing money to watch the game? i.e. Versus has the coverage now and they have that stupid permission about retransmission, selling, bla bla bla. I know when Joe Vision was on it was the ESPN feed. Does Versus not allow it? or NBC?
RedStormRising 7 Report post Posted April 17, 2008 I'm apparently completely out of the loop... What exactly is Joe Vision?
SpiritFan 37 Report post Posted April 17, 2008 I'm apparently completely out of the loop... What exactly is Joe Vision? They would charge like $5 to come in & watch the away games on the big screens at the Joe.

I think you hit the nail on the head, and this way they can have other things at the Joe to make even more money. http://redwings.nhl.com/team/app/?service=...rticleid=360416

Back then I was younger and wasn't in the real world yet so i had to be at the pool Life guarding and teaching little kids to swim at 8 the next morning. that was a hard morning.
