I don't know about you guys, but I think JP Dumont has been the most consistent contributor for the Wings. Great pass to Kronwall to spring Franzen.

Edit: I thought Rafalski made that pass...but the score sheet says Kronwall.

I wish we had signed Dumont when he left Buffalo.

(I know I'm in the minority, but hey, that's cool.)

I am with you actually. I was also hoping he made it to free agency this year.

Do you think Duck's fans made one of these for Lilja last year?

yep it was Kronner, Franzen is "cold as ice" in clutch situations.

GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I member a couple of people saying maybe use Franzen as trade bait. The he goes off in march, and has the biggest goal so far in the playoffs.

We had a deal on the table with this jerk and he decided to go for more money in Nashville. Go to Hell JP, I liked you now I hate you.

I can't hate on that.

If another fire department came along and offered me more money, I'd probably have to go. As much emotion as we fans want to put into it - at the end of the day it's a business.

Teams trade money for work. If someone wants to trade you more money for your work, are you really telling me that you'd say no?

Not everyone is willing to take the "hometown discount" in a career field that could end in a second via injury.

Yea, cause putting out a fire and winning a Cup are comparable?

Nah, not even close, I'm just saying I personally don't find fault in someone taking more money.

As a fan I may be disappointed, but I don't take it as a personal slight.
