They should have thrown one at Ovechkin for deciding to pass instead of shoot with Biron clearly out of position. I don't know if those are actually glass - or are they plastic? Either way, its just ignorant. That guy is on camera, if he is found he should definitely be fined and banned from attending NHL games. Now you know why those bottles are plastic though if it would have been full, it could have really hurt. I don't find it hilarious at all. I find it to be ridiculous that people can be complete jackasses at a sporting event. Not hilarious that it happened so much as hilarious in his bad luck/beer magnetism. I also think it's funny because of how horrible Flyers fans are. They rip jerseys off of opposing teams' fans. They do it to women and kids, they make fun of kids there, they call kids' moms names there. They're really just terrible fans. Yes, it's a jackass thing to do, but it's also sort of poetic justice, too. But you can't compare it to someone throwing coffee at you in your office. Do you have 20,000 people watching you while you work, mere feet away and cheering every time you do something good? I enjoy watching the Habs play, they're a very talented team who play well together. I'm a die-hard Sabres fan, so I'd probably rather give myself a home-vasectomy rather than cheer for the Flyers, but with all the lame cheers, constant booing (including national anthems), and just poor sportsmanship in general, I just can't stand Habs fans.
