Not hilarious that it happened so much as hilarious in his bad luck/beer magnetism. I also think it's funny because of how horrible Flyers fans are. They rip jerseys off of opposing teams' fans. They do it to women and kids, they make fun of kids there, they call kids' moms names there. They're really just terrible fans. Yes, it's a jackass thing to do, but it's also sort of poetic justice, too.

But you can't compare it to someone throwing coffee at you in your office. Do you have 20,000 people watching you while you work, mere feet away and cheering every time you do something good? I'm not saying it makes it OK what happened, I'm just saying it makes it different.

Actually I can. The point is its pathetic for anyone to throw a beer bottle at anyone. It doesn't matter where it is. Try and think of any situation where its ok and a positive outcome might happen by doing something like that.

But you are right in saying he's really having some tough luck with beer lately.

I don't find it hilarious at all. I find it to be ridiculous that people can be complete jackasses at a sporting event. I know I'd sure be pissed if someone walked by my office and decide to chuck their coffee mug at me (Big Lebowski style).

I didn't mean to say it was a positive thing by any stretch of the imagination. I mean it's a whole lot more likely with so many people, so close, taking the game so seriously. It's definitely pathetic, but that doesn't mean I kind find some humor in it.
