GDT: 5/2 - Dallas Stars @ San Jose Sharks

The Wings could find out who their WCF opponent will be as early as tonight. TBH, I think they will as well.

Dallas has just been too good in San Jose and the Sharks seem to be hanging on by a thread.

Best case scenario - The Sharks push this series to 6 or 7 and make Dallas work for it and pay for it physically. I'd love for that to happen. But it won't. Stars win, 4-1

I'm gonna go ahead and call a Sharks win tonight, then Stars take it at home in 6 to wrap it up and move on to face Johan Franzen and Co.

Beat me to it...I'm rooting for the Stars overall in the series, but at the same time rooting for the Sharks to make one more stand tonight and extend Dallas a little bit. We shall see.

I think i would be wonderful if San Jose pulled off the comeback and won in 7. Then during the conf. finals they'd get too tired and just get owned by the Wings. No team who has gone 7 games in round one and two has EVER gotten past round 3.

In answer to the earlier question, Round 3 won't start until ALL teams have finished playing Round 2. Which means that either way, the Wings (and maybe Stars) are going to get a long time to cool off.

I'm not so sure I'd consider it a long time to cool off really... Round 2 could be all done tomorrow.

Actually, not until Sunday at earliest. And it's highly unlikely (in my view) that the Rangers are going to roll over after winning 3-0 and Montreal will just play dead. I expect both those series to go at least 6 games.

If that's the case, let'm beat the heck out of each other a little more. Should be to our advantage who ever wins. ( I think It'll be Dallas)
