Wings humuliate stars in front of their fans. Wings win 6-1 Homer gets 2 goals and 2 assists. McCarty detroys Ribeiro and then Ribeiro proceeds to cry. GO WINGS GO. And as always excellent GDT.

oh and Edicius you better wear your Lids jersey!!! :sly:

Man, I have to miss tomorrow's game. I can catch it on the radio but if ever there was one to actually sit down and watch...that would be it.

Sometimes I really hate working second shift...

Here's hoping whatever home crowd energy Dallas may benefit from is quickly destroyed with a McCarty victory over Ribs and the Wings scoring fast and furiously to take them out of this series.

No sense giving Dallas a foothold.

First off: get well soon Johan, we miss you.

Second: statement game.

Wings 5 (Cleary, Dats, Lids, Kronner, Homer)

Stars 2 (who cares)

notes:

- Ribeiro is a ***** and will probably be on a line with Ott. Mac won't get a shot at him... but Drake or Kronner might. :sly:

- Turco cheapshots Homer as often as possible and VS crew praises him for it.

- Homer runs Turco and VS crew calls for head on platter and new rules.

I hope Detroit doesn't get distracted by Dallas' antics at the end of the game on Saturday. They come out with a full 60 minutes and pull through with a win.

Let's go Red Wings!

I am not sure we can count on the Versus net link for streaming video? Did it work for today's game between Pittsburgh and Philly?

Also, if it does not work does anyone know of a link with similar quality?

What I meant was, I hope that Detroit is not running around trying to get even with Ribeiro or Ott. I want them to stay focused and play to win.

The Versus link should always work. It is Versus' official NHL stream. Edited by Nero

The Versus link did not work for the entirety of game two. I was not the only one having problems. I ended up having to watch the game on justin.tv. The feed was ok but I have been spoiled with the Versus feed.

Well, this time the Wings WILL win 14-2

Datsyuk will start off with the same move he embarassed Turco with before, then score 13 more, each getting progressively more embarrassing and ridiculous.

And Ribeiro will *not* "get his" tonight.

I don't think that last game's antics will affect our Wings, though it may merely serve to light a bit more fire in their bellies.

Wings seem to be far more focused on the scoreboard than on retaliation, and I like that.

(having said that, I'll be the first one to jump for joy when sumbuddy hits Ribeiro hard! and I do hope for an embarrassment of rich GA's on Turco The Tool)

I don't like to predict scores, but I think this game could be a KO punch.

Feel better, Johan. We love and miss you, but your teammates will TCOB for you.

Slightly scared for the game...

...not due to the superior play of the Stars, but because if there are that many cheap shots in the second game, what are they going to do at the end of the third period if/when the Wings are up by two or three and the Stars know they are on the brink?
