WCF Game 4 GDT: Stars 3, Red Wings 1

Such a double-standard. Ericsson was so much in the crease, Ozzie couldn't have possibly moved side-to-side to make the save.

The Sutherland/O'Halloran NHL rulebook

Progress of the goaltender impeded: Goal.

Player outside the crease, not making contact with the goaltender: No goal.

Bulls***.

Detroit needs to come out and score again really ******* fast. We can't let these referees give this game to Dallas. Un-*******-believable. We need to play harder and better. We need to WIN.

Let's go Red Wings.

Not just that he was in the crease but his stick makes contact with Ozzie's pad on the initial shot...

O'Hallahan really doesn't want to further his career by reffing in the finals...otherwise he would not make so many damn mistakes.

regardless, thats no excuse to lose the game.

Dominate the third send it to overtime and send these f***ers to the golf course.

Meh. For some reason I'm not concerned about the Wings trailing in this game heading into the third. Ice started to shift late in the period a bit and funky bounce led to a goal.

Game should be tied, anyway.

I don't doubt the Wings will tie it in the third and still come away with a win here.

s***.

Wow, Ericsson TOTALLY in the crease and THAT'S a goal?

why is that a goal? he was in hte crease...

looked like he was in the crease; goal shouldn't have counted <_<

He was in the crease, how about a wave-off Sutherland? No?

Isn't he in the crease???

Where the f*** is the in the crease call on that goal? This is unbelievable!

Ahem...

He was more in the crease than Homer was...

How is that not goalie interference according to O'Hallaran, he was more in the crease than Homer was!

HE WAS IN THE CREASE

 You all make a good point...

And there were 5 or 6 more I couldn't quote.

dallas was in the crease with both feet.

holmstrom wasnt in at all.

if holmstrom was in the crease then it should have also been a goaltender interference since turco was on the edge of the crease, and in order for there to be interference homer would have had to have bumped him

the reffing in this game is a joke....caught many non calls going on.....

should I even bother to watch the 3rd??

The ice is horrible...it looks like a sand pit...

the refs are horrible as they've been all year long

and better yet the idiot fans in Dallas think they are playing a good game....

Nah I think I'll go to bed....

Wings can't lose the game. They just can't.

The universe will implode.

It's ok, Datsyuk was in the crease on his second goal in Game 3. They just don't understand consistency.

Oh, plus the whistle blew on that goal, too. So it's not like everything is completely against Detroit.

This whistle did not blow before the puck went in; it blew after the puck was in the net
