Look no further than the way these last two have been played. We have no momentum, no drive and no on wanting to play all 20 min of a period. You're only delaying the inevitable. ALthough by doing so, you're giving the Pens a better chance of beating the Wings in the finals, because Pittbsburgh will likely be more rested. This is kind of to be expected since they're playing for their lives. One period of total domination, true Red Wings hockey here and the Wings are off to the Cup Finals. It's cliche, but you can see it when the Wings are on defense: they're playing not to lose rather than to win. They're getting some good solid plays off from time to time and if you looked at the box score (outside of the scoring summary) you'd figure the Wings were winning this game. Going to have to dig deep in the third period, amp the pressure up to 11 and get a power play or two that they can finish on. It's just that with all the blocked shots, they don't know what to expect or what to do. I predict a goal early in the 3rd that rallies the Wings back to playing their game. It's going to be tough, but they just need to take the wind out of Dallas a little. Break Turco down. Even if we lose we are in the exact same situation as the first round (3-2 lead on the Preds anyone?). People thought we were done then. Two rounds later it's the same s***. The Stars were in the EXACT SAME POSITION you guys are. If that's the case, get ready for a marathon in game 6, although I don't think this series is going back to Dallas. LMAO... can everyone just point and laugh at this guy. I am willing to bet my life that Dallas does not go to the SCF. Franzen hasn't played 1 game vs the stars i don't think so you haven't seen our hottest player yet.... but yet you guys are playing better than the Wings because they make up rules "ass in the crease" and screw the wings but you credit the Stars for that right?
