uk_redwing 495 Report post Posted May 24, 2008 Here is the award Detroit is up for: 2007-08 Worst Enforcing Team Nominees: Buffalo Detroit NY Islanders Toronto LA Montreal Now for those of you who arnt too clued up about the fighitng side of the league, Detroit wernt the worst this season (for once). Montreal, NY Islanders and Toronto didnt even have an enforcer (NY traded Simon and the Leafs traded Belak). Unfortunatly, this hasnt stopped all the detroit haters racking up the wings votes to almost 1st spot. So... do your thing. Register, vote, stop the wings winning! (If you need advice, vote for one of the 3 other teams I mentioned here), but read the thread for yourself. Vote Now!
Chaldean 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2008 (edited) These hooligans are left in the past. That style of hockey doesn't win Championship anymore (if it ever did.) So frankly, I can care less if people call the team soft (tell that to Krownwall and Drake.) Edited May 25, 2008 by Chaldean
Rice 42 Report post Posted May 25, 2008 The Wings are up 1-0 in the Finals. 29 other teams aren't. Who cares?
truebladearmy 33 Report post Posted May 25, 2008 The Wings are up 1-0 in the Finals. 29 other teams aren't. Who cares? My thoughts exactly. So we have a little class. It's gotten us 3 cups in a decade, and we're 3 wins away from our 4th. There is a reason everyone is trading away their fighters.
Datsyerberger 279 Report post Posted May 25, 2008 We enforce with the scoreboard, and we're among the top in the league at that.
Reds4Life 51 Report post Posted May 25, 2008 I would say we are the best enforcing team. We have the Pain Train. I guess I should not be surprised to see that there are still idiots who think that we are soft team.

In fact, we've been outhitting and outshooting everyone....all post season.

Lovin Jiri Fischer 147 Report post Posted May 25, 2008 As far as I'm concerned, I would say Detroit is the best enforcer team out of the two teams that are still playing hockey.
