Good stuff - anyone else notice in Game 3 how several pens got very panicky with the puck just inside the blue line when they saw Kronner coming towards them? He never made any big hits because the Pens always got rid of the puck well before he arrived :)

Now this is a hit compilation

Orpik dosent have the ability to change the pace of the game with his hits, shortly after this shift the wings scored, when krowall hits guys he gets them looking, ive seen sykora nearly s*** himself and dodge several hits from kronner while giving the puck up in the process, orpik is more of a roadblock, im not saying hes a bad hitter hes very persistent and can wear the opposition somewhat, but possesses nowhere near the skills of Kronwall physically, defensively, and especially offensively.

that d-bag looks like an alien at the end, get a life.

You by far are the most immature poster I've ever had the displeasure of coming across.... its just a friendly post ffs...

You and your "I am going to marry this skank in this picture because she is a wings fan"

Defensively? Orpik use to be horrible... Therrien gave him a kick in the ass, now he is one of the best defenders in our conf.

but I do agree that kron is a pretty amazing hitter to watch... I won't deny him that.. But its like when he goes out to hit people... he goes out to hit people... he doesn't even both trying to make a play

I agree orpik is a shut down defensman but kronwall is being groomed by Norris Nik himself and already has shown great ability in pinching guys off the puck and closing lanes to the net, he's more of a hitter in the open ice neutral zone but he does use his body effectively in the D zone much like orpik, so there defensive qualities are pretty much equal but thats the only place i see orpik even come close to competing with kronwall and kronwall has much greater potential. he has also tightened up in his defensive zone as well as make very smart decisions, something he lacked previously and has left him in these playoffs.

Imo He went from being "Brain-less Bruiser" (no offence)... to showing how much hocky sense he could pick up so fast... I must admit I agree....

haha yes... that was a great sequence from game 3! Not sure Ive ever seen it be done like that before.

I was expecting something more explosive though. The clip doesnt really qualify for "hit" compilation. Maybe "shove" compilation would be more appropriate. But Im a biased Wings fan. Still have to hand it to Orpik for taking three guys down but still not being able to get control over the puck.

and oh! Not my style of music..
