Most Pen fans I've met seem to be decent folk. that's my call to. registerd on hfboards couple of days ago and Pens folk there is very civil and realistic. with very few exceptions. same goes to Wings fans there actually. it's also not like LGW's been free from homers these days. exactly the opposite IMHO. this forum also stinks when Wings happen to loose and bandwagon is badly looking for excuses... Nev 1,085 Report post Posted June 1, 2008 Well, the original point stands - Therien has been terrible this series. All he has done is ***** and whine about the officials. Last night every time they shot to the bench he was standing there doing nothing apart from looking like he was about to burst into tears. The ONLY time he moved/spoke was the Maltby "penalty" to start the 5on3 when he suddenly EXPLODED into life to harangue the officials. Even when they took the TO he just stood back and let the assistant coach the players while he tried not to burst into tears. I'm not giving Detroit that much credit, they were nearly eliminated by Nashville in the first round. We haven't been able to sustain any energy in this series. We had them on the ropes in the second half of the second and had the PP to take the lead. We pissed it away. Same with the 5-3 in the third. Bottom line, we got guys in the lineup that haven't shown up yet. Has this idiot even been WATCHING the games??? ROFL I'm certain he didn't see games 1 & 2 when the Pens were blanked. It's pretty hilarious how they takes things out of context and then make up excuses when they finally meet a team who has been handing them their ass. He doesn't know how to give the appropriate credit were it is due like what we have seen Yzerman, Lidstrom and other players do. This will be a life lesson for Crosby.
