Still Confident...

We're still up 3-2, I mean yea we were 34 seconds away but just like Ozzy and the whole team says they're going to forget about tonight. Dwelling on it isn't going to help and I honestly believe that this loss is going to give us that much more will to win game 6. Obviously both teams have proven that they can win on the road and I don't see why we can't close this thing out once and for all tomorrow night. We came back 2-0 after a terrible first period. The boys will be fired up for game 6, I have faith.

Wings have come out strong most nights, especially after losses. While the loss is game 5 is disappointing so was the lossin game 5 against Dallas and boy did the Wings respond in game 6. I expect nothing less of them in game 6 of the SCF. I don't think the fans in Mellon are going to be any more intimidating than the fans in the AAC. Who knows maybe the Wings will relax a little without the pressure of winning at home and come out much better in the 1st.

The worst part about the loss is that I have to wait until tomorrow for game 6! I know they won't back down and are going to come out hard. I look for them to finish it next game. They were skating circles around the pens last night.

Yeah but the bottom line is you MUST NOT be nervous and passive at the start of the game and you MUST execute in 60minutes.. wings are sooooo slow.. they always do good 3rd periods, but a game is minimum 60minutes ffs!

We were the ones carrying the play.

QFT. If Wings carry the play for the full 60 minutes, they will win. The Pen looked really bad for most of that game.

It will all come down to the play of the new line combos. If they have the same success they had late in Game 5, the Wings win the Cup. If not, its going to be a problem.

As a resident of Pittsburgh, it is exciting to know that the Wings will be competing for the Cup 20 minutes from my house. Let's just hope they win it because I've been getting non-stop ribbing from Pens fans for the past couple weeks. If the Pens win the Cup, I'm going to have to move out of town!
