HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted June 3, 2008 I've been hearing that on 99.5 they redid a country song for the Wings? I know back in 2002 95.5 did "Without Stanley" which was great. Haven't heard this country one yet. Anyone know what I'm talking about, or know where I can listen to it?

Hockey9019 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2008 I made a post about one the other day about Garth Brooks-Two Pina Coladas they did in the 90's when they were going for their second cup. It went something like I want one cup in each hand or something. I still can't find it...
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted June 3, 2008 (edited) HAHA I found the one on 95.5. They re-did 'Apple Bottom Jeans' Ahh damn. It's only a little bit of the song. I wish they had it in full. Check it out here. Edited June 3, 2008 by HockeyCrazy3033
wingnut40 176 Report post Posted June 3, 2008 99.5 did a remake of "My Town" by Montgomery Gentry. I tried started this topic in the water cooler, but no one replied. I'm glad someone else has heard it. I've searched for it on wycd's website, but I can't find it. I love that song.

redwings1914 18 Report post Posted June 4, 2008 In The Joe (Low) This one has the interview with Lidstrom Direct link This shows how GREAT 955 has become.........."Nick wouldn't you like to add another Cup to that trophy stand?"....WTF is he gonna say? No? I cannot wait for the day that 955 gets taken over by a station that actually plays a variety of songs not just the same 5 songs every hour... ........However back on topic there is also another song that was on 955, it had no pxp commentary and was more of an original tune (it wasn't a remake), However nothing beats the Without Stanley IMO.
