Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted June 6, 2008 (edited) I love how happy and enthusiatic he's been, not letting go of the cup Wednesdey night was hilarious, and he looks like a complete badass with his head shaven like that, I hope he keeps it that way next season. Let's hope he has a really great season next season. I'll definitely be in the market for a Cleary jersey the next game I go to. NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted June 6, 2008 I sure hope he can regain the midseason form he had before he went out with the broken jaw. With $2.8 million locked up in him the next 5 years, we're gonna need him to be productive.

GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted June 7, 2008 Dan had a rough playoff run scoring wise, but I know he'll bounce back strong next season when he is fully recovered from his injury. Despite the lack of goals, Dan was still terrific defensively and on the penalty kill, and filling in for Homer on the top line in the finals. The only time during the whole post-game celebration that I came close to tears was when CBC interviewed Cleary and his friends and family came down on the ice. He was so overcome with emotion, like he had finally completed his comeback from the troubles early in his career. Cleary is such a hard worker, and I'm so glad he is going to be part of the Red Wings organization for years to come. Congrats Dan! We couldn't be happier for you. GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted June 7, 2008 I still don't know if Cleary is a top 6 guy or a top 9 guy? I guess a lot of that depends on whether we sign any big time free agent forwards this summer.
