Fedorovfan 25 Report post Posted June 7, 2008 I can't even come close to stateing how awsome it was the Wings didn't allow a goal on "The" 5 on 3. What a moment! That in my humble opinion was THE backbreaker in the series. Yes the Pens came back and won a game. But, I don't think they ever got over that moment. It will go down as Stanley Cup folklure. Just breath-taking.
VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted June 7, 2008 It was the highlight of the entire Stanley Cup playoffs, and as some announcers noted afterwards, one of the absolutely greatest plays in Finals history.
betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted June 7, 2008 Haha, which 5-on-3, the one in Game 4 or the one in Game 6? Both were equally crucial and put to rest any notion that the Pens' power play was some kind of unstoppable lethal force. Both were "if only" moments for the series. Probably the if only moments. ThreeRiversFan 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2008 Couldnt agree more...after the 1st 2 games the Pens got their footing...as seen in how incredible games 3-6 were.... Those 5 on 3's were critical
