SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted June 20, 2008 Groovy there... For people still having problems ordering the book, I got a call back this morning from a representative either with the Detroit Red Wings or Joe Louis Arena regarding the book order. We cleared up my order and while nothing has showed up on my bank statment yet based off this phone call, all appears to be set regarding whatever goof ups there were on my order. So, call either/both numbers that have been posted in this thread if you are still having difficulty and order straight from a representative. If people are getting copies at the present time and assuming they aren't low or have run out of books to reproduce, delivery should be within reason of normal shipping by air or truck I would guess. wingnut22 81 Report post Posted June 20, 2008 ugh seriously I hate hate hate the phone.... haha. but I guess I will be calling in a bot to get this all straightened out. Vladifan 680 Report post Posted June 20, 2008 Hiya - I just ordered this book not five minutes ago, and already received an email reply. I haven't checked my online charge account, but at least I know somebody's out there! Thanks for the heads-up on this to my soul-mate Vladdy 16. :beerbuddy:
wingnut22 81 Report post Posted June 20, 2008 hmm I never got an email back from them. Maybe I will try to order another one and see if I do. Worst that happens is I end up with 2 I guess, can give one to my dad haha

wingnut22 81 Report post Posted June 20, 2008 so, I go shopping with my sister swing into Barnes and Noble and they had the book haha so I just bought it there. I never got an email from them saying my order went through so I am pretty sure I wont end up with another one. I also found the Freep book there could have saved on shipping for that one. but oh well.
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted June 26, 2008 (edited) If anybody outside of the Michigan area is still having problems ordering the book due to filling out the online form, I finally got mine today in a bit of a soggy state due to rain, or how I like to say it Mother Nature acting like a *****. I was out of town early this week so I might have actually received it on Monday or Tuesday. I called the 1-800-338-5226 number I believe about a week ago, left a message to call me back and a rep got back with me the following morning. So, give it at least a 1/2 week to ship and the like. I'd try the 1-800-WINGS-25 number first but then try the other if all else fails. Between my college football magazine, one of my Michael Crichton novels, and this magazine now, I'll have plenty of good reading material when I'm on vacation in about a week! hankzet40 233 Report post Posted June 26, 2008 I e-mailed them more than a week ago and they haven't replied so I guess I'll try the number. At least I finally got the Freep book to tide me over. That will keep me entertained on my flight to Vegas on Saturday.
