grsbmd 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 I really hope Erik Karlsson is still available at the 30th pick. He has the potential to be as good as some of the guys going in the top 15, but will just need more time to develop, which the Wings can afford to give him. However, Ken Holland and co. usually manage to make a move that no one predicted and it turns out to be better than anything fans were suggesting.

Johnny Diamonds 25 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 (edited) http://www.mynhldraft.com/ Was curious about your guys opinion i would prefer kenny taking Joe Colburn but i dont think he will be available for us. This mock draft http://nhldraftsite.com/ has LW Nicolas Deschamps falling to the Wings. I don't know who runs that site, but he seem to update it often. Ok there is some site info at the bottom of the page: NHLDraftsite provides a mock draft based on worldly player rankings and NHL standings that updates every week by a team of experts after the completion of the weekly NHL games and other games across the globe. YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 Get a Staal before its too late and its not cool anymore. Haha. Might as well. You know at one point theyre gonna pull a Niedermayer and want to all play on the same team..Having a 25% chance of them all playing together is better than none! Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 How does Nashville have the number 9 pick? I really hope this is all wrong, I dont want Schenn and Beach to go to trash Central teams. Plus I'm not really high on an undersized defenceman, yes I know, Kronwall, but I'd rather not play guess and check with another d-man.

BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 Glad to see more predicting Doughty will go 2nd over Bogosian. I think the Kings will be beasts if not next year, the year after. Patrick O'Sullivan, Anze Kopitar, Jack Johnson, Dustin Brown, Mike Cammalleri, Thomas Hickey, Jonathan Bernier, and probably Doughty... This isn't a team to be taken lightly at all, high end talent for sure.
Doggy 130 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 Oh man, I would LOVE to get Karlsson so much. BTW, Doughty is a LOCK for 2nd.
egroen 384 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 It still boggles my mind how miserably the Kings did this year with all that young talent. They are going to have huge cap troubles in a year or two.
