I know Sundin probably wants to be close to home, but being a lifelong Leafer, there's no way he'd go play their rival. Sort of like Forsberg not wanting to play for us. I mean, yes the habs are generally a prefered destination for free agents due to their history, crazy fanbase that treats good players like rockstars, and knowelgeble press but you dont sign with your rival. As much as I dont want to believe it, Im not sure Id put it past Sundin. I know hes been a really great and honorable guy for Toronto, but it really seems like the Swedes know something about him that we dont.
