And another player bails from the sinking ship that is the Pittsburgh Penguins. I can just picture Crosby having a temper tantrum right about now.

"But Mario, EVERYONE should want to play with me!!! Why are they all leaving? WHY WHY WHY?!"

^^^ Nobody wants to play with a "Captain" that ******* and moans about every game he loses. They want someone that takes responsibility and gets his team on track instead of making excuses.

I most certainly agree with the part about Crosby whining like a baby about unfavorable calls.

but that's definitely not the reason why players bail from Penguins ship. if this really is about

personal problems I'd rather point to Therrien. Michelle's whining and continuous blaming was

really pain to watch and I can imagine veteran NHLers being disgusted with it. though, it's still

not enough to justify leaving Pittsburgh. they're pros not kids who get intimidated by bad

relationships

the goaltending is in no trouble, their D looks decent, Staal will have to play a much bigger role this season for them and i can see them picking up 2 forwards, not high profile guys.

Pittsburgh's D is not decent. They weren't decent last year and all they have done is loose Orpik.

We shouldn't be suprised! This team gave up alot to get most of the players that have left, and the Penguins weren't sure how or if they would be able to resign them! They had a chance if they signed players to win the cup, they went all in and came up a bit short. They also did it to put fans in the stands so that they could show the city that they had a reason to build the new stadium. I see them going after UFA's in a couple of years so that they can fill the new arena! Just my thoughts

Whitney is good he didnt play too well because he lacked experience in the playoffs, Gonchar is still top10 in the league, Scuderi is decent and Sydor is good veteran D-man that i thought played well when he finally got to play in the finals. Hall Gill is useless and Letang is young and will only get better. I can see them adding Bouwmeester to this lineup.

Gonchar may be top 10 offensive defensemen in the league. He, however, is unreliable defensivly. Sydor is on the downfall, he was scratched up until the finals. The problem with them adding Bouwmeester is how do they aquire him? What pieces do they have to move?
