Majsheppard 203 Report post Posted July 2, 2008 We are done for the year, with bringing people from the outside. Per Holland. Val next, then Ericsson and Howard.
Opie 308 Report post Posted July 2, 2008 We are done for the year, with bringing people from the outside. Per Holland. Val next, then Ericsson and Howard. With Stuart, Lilja and Conklin odds are Howard and Ericsson get AHL contracts which do not count against the cap.

Canadian_Yzerman_Fan 7 Report post Posted July 3, 2008 on a video on tsn.ca he also said that he expects hossa to play with either datsyuk or zetterberg.... not the automatic 2nd line position that people on this board seem to expect
Lidstromrules16 7 Report post Posted July 3, 2008 Cant really go wrong either way. Hossa can put the puck in the net, simple as that. Should put up atleast 40 goals (crossing fingers) playing with either one.
Saran 1 Report post Posted July 3, 2008 i watched him on OTR (Off the record) and i swore he said multiple times that he signed hossa for 7.4*5*million
Canadian_Yzerman_Fan 7 Report post Posted July 3, 2008 I think this means that the current idea for line combinations might be: 1a) Holmstrom - Datsyuk - Hossa 1b) Franzen - Zetterberg - Filpulla I say that because you probably want Homer and Mule on opposite lines as they're big body, net presence guys... Holland's indication that Hossa will play with one of Z or D splits the two of them up... Zetterberg and Mule showed some great chemistry at times in the playoffs... and Flip is ready to break up this year i think
