stud_defenseman 1 Report post Posted August 2, 2008 (edited) If Sundin doesn't come back the leafs are going to have a severe lack of leadership on their team, with probably Kaberle being the most likely to be Captain. Sadly, he is probably one of the least outspoken players on the team, and while we can relate to this with Lidstrom, who is one to lead by example and provide some vocal leadership here and there, I do not get this feeling from Kaberle. BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted August 2, 2008 Yeah, it would be Kaberle. I always looked at him as a second rate Lidstrom, and he seems to have the same sharp personality as well. He'd be a good captain, I mean he has a heavy accent, but he seems to have been a responsible assistant. I wouldn't bet on McCabe, but it is possible. There really isn't anyone else.
