Taken from Redwingscentral.com, in the article about 9 prospects coming to camp.

He just seemed like he was a decent player with alot of potential. Scored over 100 points in his last year and was signed MVP.

Has anyone heard of him before or ever seen him play?

"Francis Pare, F, 21, 5-10, 185, 69-54-48-102-54, Chicoutimi (QMJHL). Pare racked up 54 goals and 102 points last year and was named MVP of the QMJHL. He has already signed a contract with Grand Rapids for 2008-09."

watch for cody thornton, former captain of the soo greyhounds. He's a pretty solid two-way forward with great hands and hits like a freight train.

Well although this kid is only 5'10" and 185LB, the Wings high brass are really impressed by his rookie AHL season. Not signed to a Wings contract, I think this will be changed in the summer. After playing 48 games for GR to date he has 20+20 and a team high +18 rating. Def a high skilled forward that looks after both ends of the ice. Watch this space....
"What are you guys doing?" Reggie Dunlop
"Putting on the foil coach" Jeff Hanson
"Yeah, every game, you want some coach?" Steve Hanson
"Er, no. No thanks guys." Reggie Dunlop
"Make sure they don't leave the bench!" Reggie Dunlop.
