CenterIce 83 Report post Posted September 25, 2008 Is this 3 regular season games? Or 3 pre-season games? I assume regular season? 3 preseason games. About the visor. He might wear one for at least a while to protect the nose. Also, he wore one, at least for a little while, earlier in his career.
12Newf 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2008 i really cant imagine a visor having any impact on nick lidstrom's play. at 98% he is still the best.
GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted September 25, 2008 The club decides how many preseason games they will play. Red Wings management chose nine games. I don't really care who makes the decision TBH. Nine games is far too many.

I thought there was talk about shortening the preseason but it required approval from all teams in the league.

union drone 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2008 Anyone heard anything more about how Nick is doing after taking a puck in the face last night? It has been reported that the puck was confronted by Draper after the hit. The puck apologized profusely and was seen hugging Draper and others after the game. Guest mindfly Report post Posted September 26, 2008 How come babcock plays a superstar/franchise player and without doubt the no.1 defenseman on the team, he already have good chemistry with Rafalski so why risk having an injury like this? it's uncalled for in my opinion to play him during pre-season, he gets his legs going on practice. Hope the visor, that he will most likely consider using won't interfere with his vision and excellent skillz... :S

And this was just a fluke, it happens. No big deal.
