9/30 xGDT: Red Wings @ Canadiens

I don't mind the fans' overexaggeration for the game. The play on the ice felt like a playoff game (my god, some of the saves made on both sides...) and the crowd seemed to play off the intensity. Not really sure why so much ire was focused on Hossa though

Is it just me who wanna see Hossa with Zetterberg and let Datsyuk play on the 2nd line?

Max Pacioretty is gonna be a star. So is Leino. 60-80 point guys, maybe more.

Was surprised to see how physical the game was. Think it took the Wings by surprise a bit too. Montreal was borderline dirty throughout the evening. The hit on Leino easily could have been a double minor and then they hit Howard pretty hard just before Pacioretty scored.

Gotta find some ice time for Helm and Leino. They are ready now. Dont want them to grow stale in the minors.

Any updates on Chelios' injury?

I was wondering the same thing... It didn't look good and that shot reminded me of the late season one that caused the bone chip in Cheli.

Also, I forget how things work... Will there be another round of roster cuts before the end of the pre-season? We're going to the Buffalo game on Sunday and was wondering if the team will look more like the regular season squad since it's their last pre-season game.
