Dano33 41 Report post Posted October 8, 2008 i liked #3, with the runner up being #4. #5 may be original, but it doesnt really have a hockey feel to it. #1 sounded like the after hours music on late night HNIC. #2 was just bad, i know it was a kid, but i didnt like it at all. Ditto, that annoyed the crap out of me, having to see that again and again. At least it wasn't Pronger - I have yet to actually see any footage of him hoisting the Cup and I'd like to keep it that way. Make it Zata hoisting the Cup and we're good. If I wanted football I'd *WATCH* football. Also, #2 reminds me of Eragon: pretty impressive that a 13-year old wrote it, but at the end of the day the composition fails to impress me. #5 is probably my favourite out of these selections but frankly they should just use The Good Old Hockey Game instead of dragging out this charade. I'd pay good money to watch an orchestra of zambonis coordinating horn honking to the tune of The Good Old Hockey Game. In fact, that's what they should do during intermission at the All-Star Game. Screw the c-list rock bands and hip-hop artists. Wouldn't it be so freaking awesome having a zamboni from every team brought on the ice for a GOHG singalong?
