Ms_Hockey 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2009 Actually, it's been pretty bad. My mom called this morning to tell me my dad passed away. He had had a mild heart attack several years ago. This one was not mild. Oddly enough, he lived in South Dakota, and the attending doctor was a Red Wings fan. I'm so sorry, 55. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. haha i'm pretty sure that i do, yeah. tpbm is counting down the minutes until they get off of work. I'm not at work. But I am counting down the minutes until my dad gets home to see if he yells at me for my new piercing. TPBM bites their fingernails.

Don't understand the attraction, but I am glad I never acquired the habit. I hear it's hell to try and break yourself of it. TPBM is happy Monday is almost over. This doesn't count for those of you fortunate enough to have the day off.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted February 17, 2009 never. ever. ever. tpbm went for a walk/jog/run today. Never to the McYuck's as well. The last time I stepped foot in one was 1988. Does 80 flights of stairs on the stairmill-from-hell and 30 minutes of interval training on the elliptical count as a walk/jog/run? I am a total melted sweatball, here. TPBM has one top secret vice/bad food they won't give up... and few people know about.

The person below me has relatives that everyone else thinks are crazy, but that they think are normal, and wonders how this reflects on them. Hmmm, nope. Can't say I do. Everyone always thinks my relatives are hilarious. Never had anybody think they were weird. I have one aunt who people think is nuts - but I agree with them. I met her when I was 16 and she tried converting me to her Baptist church, telling me I needed to be saved. She wasn't invited to anymore family gatherings after that. TPBM hates those automated phone systems they have to go through when calling a company - taking forever to speak to an actual human.

I really don't... I have lots of favorite tunes. I guess the one that stirs me most when it's done right is The Star Spangled Banner. Hokey, I know. I also love Amazing Grace, but it's been played too often in the last decade at too many horrible sad memorials. TPBM owns a pair of crocs.
