55fan 5,133 Report post Posted February 7, 2011 No. I enjoyed it yesterday Yes, I enjoyed it. I'm glad the Pack won. The person below me believes that the Lions will win a Superbowl some time in their lifetime.
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted February 7, 2011 I'm not so sure about that one. I think they'll win it at some point, just not sure it will be in my lifetime. The person below me checks to see if there's anyone else in the thread before posting a response. (Hope we don't post at the same time Loo)
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 I do. If they got there shortly before me, I go away and read something else and come back. If they've been there for a while, I go ahead and post. The person below me needs to get in the shower, but can't seem to get motivated.
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 No shower for me I'll do that in the morning. But I do need motivation because I'm feeling guilty for not working on things right now. The person below me is busy all day and doesn't get time to relax until late.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 Usually I work 12 hour shifts. I get home and plop down with the computer and that's all she wrote. The person below me is drinking tonight.

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 Mostly. I enjoy the planning stage more, so I tend to spend more time with it. The person below me has yet to learn that the world doesn't revolve around them and thus is often disappointed over little things.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 I learned that a long time ago. The person below me is in the mood for Chinese food.

Jenny 315 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 It's a rare day that I don't want nachos. (Not that I EAT them every day, you understand, just that I WANT to eat them every day!) The person below me occasionally thinks about ways to run away from home.

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 14 1/2 years in the house. Nope. I'm not leaving unless there's a family emergency and mom or sis needs me to move in with them. Too much work to put into it to sell. The person below me is in a rut.
Jenny 315 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 A rut that includes being constantly right on the edge of a work-related nervous breakdown, at that. The person below me agrees that I should just go curl up and read for awhile before I try to do anything else.
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 Sounds like a good idea. Don't you work in accounting? I understand the stresses of it but it can't be that bad can it? The person below me joins me in wishing Jenny some stress free days at work.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 Sure. Why not. Of course I do. Just so long as they are productive enough that she gets a raise too. The person below me works 40 hours per week.
Jenny 315 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 That's what it's supposed to be, but more often it's 45 or so. (It's not the accounting work itself that's bugging me--it's kind of dull, but I don't hate it or anything. It's the horrible people I work with and the horrible, immoral company I work for, which happened to be largely responsible for a rather large oil spill in the Gulf last spring.) Anyway... The person below me has already had dinner.
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 Yep, it's 10pm and if I hadn't I'd go hungry since it's too late now. The person below me wonders if someone has been thinking about them.

WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 Nope, I'm bad about that kind of stuff The person below me wishes they had more time to read those "classic" novels.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 Not really. I wish I had more time to do a lot of things, but reading novels isn't one of them. The person below me has a puzzle book that they never get around to doing.
