j.hoop 64 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 wow, highest goal scorer on EDM with 5, is there offense just spread evenly or have they not been scoring much? i havent really been paying attention to them, what are their strong points/threats?? i knew last year they were killer on the shoot out. anyways im gonna go with 4-2 wings (hossa, franzen, maltby, holmstrom) get the home crowd reeling wings!! I agree with this prediction. I'd also like to add that the Oilers three goals will come from 5 on 3 powerplays.
I Red Wings I 40 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 Conklin started his career in Edmonton, I think he's going to play a good game. 3-0 Detroit.
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 It would be just fantastic if we completely dominated and won without giving the other team a chance. I am tired of one goal decisions.

The Oilers have scored 17 less goals than the Red Wings have with one more game played, so if our defense can play stable hockey tonight, Detroit should have no problem picking up a victory, assuming we're firing on all cylinders. In the spirit of predictions, I'll say Hockeytown takes this one 6-2 on goals from Zetterberg x2, Hossa, Franzen, Rafalski, and Draper. Kronwall will also pick up three assists, two of which will come on Zetterberg's goals.

Slave 31 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 8-3 wings, Z and D both get a trick, Hossa with 1 and flip with 1, franzen has 2 assists and homer gets 2 goals disallowed. Datsyuk also gets a 5 min major for dropping the gloves with hemsky, when scortini or peuleut or whoever edmonton has as an enforcer comes in Zetterberg jumps the boards and beat him into submission getting a 1 game suspension, coming back just in time to knock iginla out on saturday

GSBrooks13 204 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 I read somewhere that the Oilers are starting Rolly tonight so hopefully the Wings can take advantage of their 3rd tier goalie lol.. Anyways.. my prediction would be something like this.. Red Wings 6 - Hossa x 3, Lidstrom, Franzen, Kopecky Oilers 1 - Hemsky
Donaldjr2448 43 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 if i remember correctly i watched every home game last season 1am CET (7pm EST) ... why that extra 30-40mins yeah mindfly, alot of our homegames lastyear where on at 7ET because most of them were National Televised Broadcasts here in the US and Canada (TSN). For the most part the Wings come on at 730ET if there at home. If they play on the east coast there are times when the game begins at 7et. Hope that helps you!!
