Finally this team shows some killer instinct.. Had me second guessing after that center ice goal on Ozzie but I think maybe they stepped up and won the game for him after that one..

Love the reaction after hossa's goal.. amazing

Yeah I love his passion man! I love his celebrations,I wish we could lock him up somehow for like 100 years :D But anyway another grind it out win,I guess it REALLY isn't going to get any easier this season.Oh well glad we didn't give Columbus a point tonight.Go Wings!

I have to say that I was incredibly frustrated by the wings play tonight. It has just been lacking that fluency that I've grown acustom to over the years. And as the score remained tied so late into the 3rd, Ozzie's center ice goal was infuriating me more and more. I mean, how the hell do you let that happen? Hossa's deflection was so minor and the puck still had 60' to go before it got to him. Plenty of time to adjust to that, no excuse I told myself.

BUT! After watching the post game and hearing Ozzie's and Babs reactions/quotes I am suddenly very calm. In a few moments I went from a state of pessimism to optimism. I def. failed to realize how little practice time the Wings have had over the course of the past month. Nothing I've read (and I read A LOT of articles) has talked about this very much.. but anyway, a win is a win and I sincerly hope Ozzie is right about being, "on the cusp of playing that dominating style of Red Wings hockey".

GO WINGS!

Well, I was very unimpressed with the Wings' play in the first period, but we managed to solidify ourselves a bit and secure a victory, which is all I expect from this team. I'm happy with the two points, but we'll be facing a tough challenge tomorrow night when we meet the Bruins.

Also, it was great to see Hossa and Zetterberg kick it up a notch and get back on track tonight.

Drapes scores one for Aussie.

My dream of sweeping the Central is still alive!

3 for 3,baby!

Surprised Aussie hasn't piped up about Draper's EN.

 I was at the cricket all day. When I got home and saw the scoresheet, I had a good laugh.

Good old Drapes and his empty netters.

The offense was great tonight, but aside from that I was decidedly unimpressed. The defense gave up about a half dozen odd man rushes over the course of the night, and Ozzie managed to offset some great bailouts in the first two periods with by far the worst goal of the year in the third.

I'm happy they won, but I'm still looking for them to put forth a solid defensive effort consistently. Getting turned inside out by a forward's deke or being caught flat footed to give up a 2-on-1 isn't gonna cut it.

I wasn't able to watch the game. Only the last 5 minutes or so. My cousin called me up and told me bout the center ice goal and I nearly died. Yeah. I'd rather not see or ever hear about it again. Everyone knows Ozzie is my boy and always will be, but he needs to re-focus and get it together. If that means Babs playing TY a lot more to light a fire under Ozzie's rear then so be it. That being said, I love you, Oz. lol

Anyone else scream CHOOOOOOOOOOOO CHOOOOOOOOOOO!!! when the pain train dropped the gloves?!?!

i actually screamed BREAK HIS HEAD JARED!!! but jared let me down... even draper took him out... shame.

That was a fun game to be at... overall i think i picked two exciting games to take in.. The Pits game and this game.

Nash is still my boy even if ozzie kept stoning him

as for the long goal... hell of a shot (and/or deflection)
