If he gets into a fight early and pumps up the team, we might have enough energy to play like how we're supposed to play, instead of the lackluster submissive style we've gotten used to. Chunkylover 26 Report post Posted December 1, 2008 The Ducks may be the only litmus test team the Wings have. If Anaheim gets physical the Wings will too. Hopefully the officials can keep from injecting themselves into the outcome of a potentially action-packed, high-tempo game. I just want to see a systematic, puck-possession game from the Wings tonight. 1. A low shot total against 2. Strong PK 3. Limited Giveaways 4. A well-policed crease 5. Quick, simple outlet passes to clear the zone. Thats all I ask. Offense be damned. Lets just keep the GA to 2 or fewer. I agree, they're putting Lilja as the only guy that even knows how to make fists with his hands in a dangerous position. They're obviously going to be running our guys tonight... Lilja must do something, but it's going to be hard to watch him getting pummeled against the potential of true heavyweights. Lilja cannot fight a Parros type player without hugging or getting hurt.
